Scott Davis

Vice President of Sales

Biography

From modest beginnings, and the son of a salesman, Scott was raised through some tough times.  He understands what it is like to manage through the stress of living paycheck to paycheck, and what it takes to work hard along the way. 

Scott is a results-oriented sales professional with a unique talent for understanding customer needs.  He is excited to be part of the Genesis Fuel Corp team and looks forward to the doors it will open to meeting new people, learning about their business, and being part of a rapidly evolving industry.

Never dreaming that sales would turn out to be his chosen career, Scott found his way to the transportation industry where he spent 17 years with a large freight carrier, learning every aspect of the business from shipping, delivery, operations, and ultimately sales.  He followed up his time in the transportation industry with 25+ years in Telecom and Cable in various sales, account management, and customer onboarding roles receiving numerous accolades.  Over the years, he successfully managed several teams including a hand-picked team of 15 sales professionals at a major telecom company on a nationwide new product roll-out and later, he managed Western Region onboarding for 35 sales professionals.

When he isn’t working, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, watching the Colorado Rockies, attending car shows, traveling, relaxing on beaches, and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle (particularly around colorful Colorado where he was born and raised).

Scott may never have seen Sales as his path, and yet as he has walked it, he has encountered many successes.  At the end of the day, he is energized by knowing that he has met new people, turned customers into friends, and helped them achieve their business goals.
